When I was younger I connected with the animals around me especially dogs. I felt understood by them and I saw a soul just like my own. I realized that dogs do speak but only to those of us who know how to listen. Since then, I have been searching for the knowledge and skills to become a translator of canine communication, so I can return the same level of understanding I felt so early in life.
My work as a behaviorist is not about meeting expectations or doing what others think should be done. It is about advocating for the dog in front of me the ones who cannot speak for themselves. My priority will always be to act in the dog’s best interest, even when it is misunderstood from the outside.
